Using SSH to connect to GitHub

Getting help🔗

If you get stuck:

  • Check error messages carefully and capture screenshots/log output for troubleshooting
  • Bring questions to tutorial time / office hours, and include the exact command and output when asking for help
  • Include links to specific sections of the lab document when relevent

When asking for help, please include a link to the exact part of the lab you’re working on:

  1. Scroll to the relevant section heading (for example: “Requirements”, “Task 2”, etc.)

  2. Click the heading text (or hover near it and click the small link/anchor icon if it appears)

  3. Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar (it will end with something like #task-2)

  4. Paste that URL into your message to the professor or TA
